T-Rex Achieves AWS Government Competency Status

Date: August 23, 2021

T-Rex Solutions (T-Rex) announced today it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Government Competency Status. This competency status validates the company’s federal information technology (IT) expertise in delivering the highest quality services to help government customers meet their IT modernization requirements.

AWS Government Competency partners must have proven experience in delivering quality services and solutions to assist agencies in achieving compliance, reducing costs and creating efficiencies.

“T-Rex is thrilled to achieve this milestone for our team and our customers,” says Jason Keplinger, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) at T-Rex. “This competency demonstrates ability, reusable solutions and expertise in helping our Federal customers meet mission-critical business objectives in an agile way. It also advances our partnership with AWS which is a win-win for our customers.”

The AWS Government competency required extensive documentation of T-Rex’s AWS practice, covering AWS’ 5 Pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Additionally, T-Rex is recognized as an Advanced Consulting Partner in the AWS Partner Network. T-Rex leverages this partnership to provide the capabilities and expertise needed to design, build, deploy and govern complex hybrid cloud infrastructures integrated with AWS. In 2020, T-Rex was the recipient of an AWS Public Sector Partner Award for the “Most Customer Obsessed Mission Based Win – Federal Civilian.”

T-Rex also presented at AWS re:Invent 2020, detailing how we leveraged AWS GovCloud (US) to successfully implement an enterprise-wide IT Modernization with the U.S. Census Bureau.
